Lakeland Trails are some of the most scenic and inspiring running and walking events in the UK, for all ages and abilities, held within the iconic landscape of the Lake District National Park. A festive, family-friendly, carnival atmosphere awaits you at every venue.
Starting in Hawkshead village, the 15km PUMA Hawkshead Trail Race and PUMA Hawkshead Challenge follows a circuit along well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways takes in panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding peaks of the Coniston Hills, the Langdales and most of the Lakeland fells. Underfoot conditions are generally good, for those used to off-road running.
