Croney sings for his supper at the Birdcage
There's nothing Croney won't do in his bid to raise funds for the North West Air Ambulance charity.... or so it seems!
This coming Saturday, 8th May, Croney will be donning his best frock, wig and tights to put in a stellar performance as alter-ego Pauline at Manchester night-spot The Birdcage.
Paul will be warming up his vocal chords at the Kayak Karaoke on the previous evening, but it seems that once he gets going there's no stopping him.
This not to be missed one-off performance, will see him belting out the Gloria Gaynor classic "I will survive", which we're not sure is more to test his singing skills or is a testament to his determination in getting across the English Channel!
Ged Jones, North West Air Ambulance charity Head of Fundraising said,"when Martyn Birks, owner of the Birdcage contacted us and offered to help out we jumped at the chance to put Paul on the stage. He's a born performer and has a great selection of costumes from his panto days, though we're hoping he'll wear something with a touch more class on this occasion!"
So if you're in the area and you feel like singing along, why not drop by and offer your support.
