Videos

The North West Air Ambulance is no stranger to hitting the headlines, in newspapers, on the radio, on TV and across the internet.  We also have our own Facebook and Twitter page where you can keep up to date with the latest goings on at the NWAA.

And we'd love to see any videos you might have of the air ambulance in action.

If you capture the helicopter, taking off, landing or attending an incident, why not film the charity in action on your mobile or video camera and then post the results on the internet for all to see....and you'll be helping to promote this vital emergency service at the same time!

Remember it costs nearly £4 million to keep our aircraft in the air.  So GET filming please!

Or if you're holding a fundraising event for the NWAA...then tell the world! Whether you're sitting in a bath of custard or running the London Marathon, film it and show it.

There are already several clips of the NWAA in action on You Tube...so don't be shy about adding your work of art!

And we've included clips of some of the programmes we've been on such as GMTV, Granada Reports, Noel's HQ on Sky 1 and our television advertising campaign from last year all on our Television Footage page

Lights, Camera, ACTION!!!

Quick Guide: Recording mobile phone video

Often not as complicated as first thought, this usually involves setting your phone to camera mode, then switching from still photo to video mode.

Starting and stopping the recording is usually done by pressing the Enter button on the phone's main keypad, although if there is a dedicated photo shutter button on the phone this will be the most likely option.

Your camera phone will probably automatically save your video as you stop recording.  To ensure this is the case check the main menu for a save option.

Once you have saved your video to your handset you can upload it to your PC.  This will require a wired USB cable compatibile with your phone or a Bluetooth wireless connection.

You can save the clip as an MP4 file to your hardrive or portable USB stick.

Uploading video to You Tube couldn't be simpler.  Simply create an account and follow the step by step instructions.  Once the clip is successfully loaded, email a link of the video to our Video Studio and we will upload it to our website.
