Three local North West companies raise a record £8800 at their annual charity event which they split between the North West Air Ambulance and MacMillan nurses.
The three companies, RE Buildings, Malmo Guns and the New Holly Public House all based in Forton, Lancashire get together and hold a clay pigeon shoot and hog roast every year to help raise funds for local charities.
Hazel & Ken Ronson from RE Buildings Ltd said "We believe in supporting the local community and this one way of helping the charities who are in great need of financial support. The response each year has been wonderful and we would like to say thank you to all those who have supported the event and we look forward to seeing them again this year".
The team will be holding the annual charity event on Saturday 13th June 2009 and will once again involve Clay Pigeon shooting, Hog Roast, large raffle and charity auction. For more information and to purchase tickets please contact 01524 799954
