Every year, thousands of people leave a gift in their will to their favourite charities and organisations – and for many who want to remember a charity that supports the whole of the North West our charity is the natural choice.
It is impossible to stress how important legacy income is to our charity. Being one of the largest single sources of income it makes a significant difference to the positive impact we can have on people's lives.
What is of particular benefit is when the income we receive is unrestricted. This means that these funds may be used to support all of the North West Air Ambulances work, from paying for lifesaving equipment to supporting the cost of the helicopter and crew, and we can put your gift to the best use, helping us to save lives.
There are several ways you can support your air ambulance in your will:
-
Make a residual gift
After making a provision for your family and friends, you may consider leaving the remainder, or a proportion of your estate, to the North West Air Ambulance.
-
Make a monetary gift
By leaving a specific amount as a cash donation to our charity.
-
Make a gift in kind
Bequeath a gift in property, shares, jewellery or any other items you may wish to leave to our charity.
What next
We recommend that you visit a solictor, in order to make a will or make an amendment to your existing will. Your solictor will request the following information from you:
- Name of Charity - North West Air Ambulance
- Registered Address - North Mersey Business Centre, Woodward Road, Knowlsey, L33 7UY
- Registered Charity Number - 1075641
If you would like further information please email niki.glenning@nwaa.net or for a discrete, informal chat, please contact Niki Glenning on 0800 587 4570
