The fundraisers for the North West Air Ambulance are always looking for volunteers who have spare time to support us. We are totally reliant on the generosity of the people in the region for donations and additional support.
We are always looking for volunteers for our charity shops in Garstang, Southport and Lytham. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Jackie Northover on 0151 547 7833 or email Jackie.Northover@nwaa.net.
The fundraising provided by our dedicated team of volunteers is essential to help keep our helicopters flying, but raising money is not the only way to help. You could also:
- Join or start a fundraising group - Local community and fundraising groups throughout the North West help to raise funds and organise events throughout the year. Why not get involved?
- Volunteer for some work at our appeals office - Our busy team of fundraisers are constantly organising events and presentations and would be grateful for any administrative support.
- Become a NWAA ambassador - By becoming a local ambassador you can help to spread the word about the invaluable work we do by giving presentations to groups.
- Help out at the NWAA charity shop - Our charity shops need support from local volunteers to help sort, press and sell goods. Could you help maximise our retail potential?
- Collection tins -
- Can you help us by looking after collection tins in shops and other premises in your local area. We have collection tins which need servicing on our behalf and we are always on the look-out for volunteers to help us to do this.
- Do you own a business? Could you help us by displaying one of our tins on your premises?
Just a few hours a week can help make a massive difference and help save peoples lives.
